We rewrote the song "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music in our own words with our OWN favorite things. This involved putting our likes into words, learning to rhyme, and following a tune and rhythm through syllables. Our version is below, and here is the tune for reference.

Painting a bagel
with cream cheese
Then using ingredients to make it 3-D
My puppy named Sammy and going surfing
These are a few of my favorite things
Noodles that they make in front of you live
Going to the pool and taking a dive
Animated game shows and hip hop dancing
These are a few of my favorite things
Sharin’ silly jokes and telling tall tales
Going shopping when there are lots of sales
Ranch dressing to go with my barbecue wings
These are a few of my favorite things
When Disney’s closed
When my ear rings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad
